For individuals, MontgomeryWorks offers a variety of job-search tools and services
- Resource Room with computer, fax and copier to be used for job search
- Workshops to improve computer skills and to improve job search skills
- Trained staff to assist individuals with their job search activities
- Information about jobs that are in demand
- Access to job openings through Maryland Workforce Exchange, an internet-based program and other job databases

- Online Job Posting with Maryland Workforce Exchange at no cost
- Research labor market information

- Training Grants through Maryland Business Works
- Coordinate on-site assistance for current employees prior to a proposed layoff

At MontgomeryWorks, we make connections between job seekers and
employers in Montgomery County. Through our innovative programs
and services, we simplify the hiring process. Services include:

- Access to the Maryland Workforce Exchange
Our mission is twofold: to help Montgomery County residents prepare
to enter or re-enter the workforce, and meet the current-and
future-workforce needs of local employers. Funded by federal
and county workforce investment funds, our one-stop workforce
centers in Gaithersburg and Wheaton serve over 10,000 job
seekers and employers each year.
MontgomeryWorks offers job seekers the tools and resources
to prepare for and obtain a job. Our fully staffed resource
centers provide daily job listings and access to computers,
printers, and fax and copy machines to aid your job search.
We also offer labor market information, career development
workshops, career counseling, and training referrals to
eligible job seekers. For employers, we provide a large
and diverse pool of skilled and qualified job seekers ready
for hire.
